Lions International Headquarters employs (215) talented individuals to maintain the necessary  infrastructure of the organization

(1) Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Islands of the South Pacific
(2) Europe
(3) the Orient and Southeast Asia
(2) South America, Central America, Mexico and Islands of the Caribbean Sea
(7 or 8) United States of America, its affiliates, Bermuda and the Bahamas

Lions Clubs are organized into Districts
- each district consists of a minimum of (35) clubs 
- and contains a minimum of (1,250) Lions Clubs members
    (this averages out to (35.7) members per club)
- any district who's membership falls below (1,250) is then considered in transition and referred to as a transitional district and susceptible to redistricting (districts in 'good' standing (not in transition) enjoy full funding for managerial duties from Lions International) 
- there are (1,280) member elected District Governors (one for each district) 
- District Governor's and their cabinets manage Lion Club support functions within their districts and serve as points of contact to the organizations Directors
